历史记录
This vessel sailed as a rum runner owned by Richard Barnet Wright Pirie, Vancouver BC under command of Captain W. L. Kerr. This vessel was wrecked on January 14, 1928 at Escalante Reef BC in a heavy gale. The Wireless Operator, Clifford Duchamp and Assistant Engineer Frank Bell survived and were landed at Tofino by the Tofino Lifeboat. This vessel had cleared for Mexico carrying a cargo of 400 cases and 20 kegs of whiskey (this vessel was obviously running alcohol into the USA). It was thought that this vessel was returning from a voyage when this vesselmet with disaster. Crew members lost in the wreck were: Captain W.L. Kerr; M.B. Wall; Harry Williams; O.H. Elvery. Early in his life Captain Kerr had rescued a man overboard and had been awarded a Carnegie Medal.
In 1920 her sale was managed by Mrs. Lillian Macdonald, believed to have been the only female ship broker in the world at that time.
