This destroyer was built in 1959 by Burrard Drydock Co. Ltd. in North Vancouver, BC.
Notas históricas
On December 22, 1996 this vessel was sunk as an artificial reef off Campbell River BC Canada.
Propietarios y capitanes
In 1959-1974 she served with the Royal Canadian Navy as a Destroyer Escort.
In 1974 she was placed in Class-C Reserve. Her propellers were replaced with ‘no-thrust’ screws to permit full-power evolutions for dockside harbour training.
