Historical Notes

In 1929 this vessel operated in the Skeen Fisheries District. Brian Lande (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 02/11/2017) states that "I believe it would have been in the mid seventies. I knew Clayton and he was a very interesting individual who you couldn't help liking, Clayton passed on I believe at least 20 yrs ago. Clayton had another boat after the Cloyah 2 but I don’t remember if he changed the name or not but it was built in Bella Coola. It seems that the Cloyah 2 was never de-registered."
