This tug was built in 1959 by John Manly Ltd. in New Westminster, BC.
Historical Notes
Bill Carey (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 12/12/2017) states that "they were actually built by my two cousins (Cal Carey and Ray Carey) at their Fairfield Island farm in Chilliwack.
They did all the welding and mechanical from scratch. "

In 1967-1990 she was owned by the MInister of Lands & Forests for British Columbia, Victoria BC Canada.
In 1991-2008 she was owned by the Attorney General of British Columbia, Victoria BC Canada.
