This tug was built in 1959 by Carey, Cal and Ray Carey in Chilliwack, BC.

Bill Carey (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 12/12/2017) states that "they were actually built by my two cousins (Cal Carey and Ray Carey) at their Fairfield Island farm in Chilliwack.
They did all the welding and mechanical from scratch. "
