This minesweeper, bay-class was built in 1955 by Geo. T. Davie & Sons Ltd. in Lauzon, QC.
This vessel was broken up in 1999.
In 1956-1998 she was owned by the Royal Canadian Navy.
Named for a bay located between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
