Historia
This research vessel was built in 1887 by U.S. Navy Shipyard (Mare Island CA).
Notas históricas
In 1888 this vessel carried on surveys, in company with USCGS Patterson, from Cape Muson AK to the head of the Portland Canal. This work was carried on until 1891 when they were discontinued a the request of the Canadian Government.
Propietarios y capitanes
In 1887-1927 she was owned by the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey.
