This fishboat, seiner was built in 1978 by Gooldrup Hulls Ltd. in Campbell River, BC.

Ken Lund reported that "Windward Fishing and Packing was Gus Pardiac from Deep Bay, Gus had owned a number of earlier vessels also with Cloud in the name. The tidal grid at Deep Bay was installed by Gus to accomadate his boat and the grid was donated to the harbour. Crew were treated well on the Windward Cloud and they even had an ice cream maker installed." (West Coast Fisherman Facebook page 14/09/2014);
