This icebreaker, light was built in 1949 by Canadian Vickers Ltd. in Montreal, QC.
In 1949-1986 she was owned by the Minister of Transport, Ottawa ON Canada for the Canadian Coast Guard.
In 2001-2024 she was owned by Ringas Enterprises Inc., Cobourg ON Canada.
