This freighter, (north sands-type) was built in 1942 by Burrard Drydock Co. Ltd. in Vancouver, BC.
Notes historiques
On the 16th March 1956 aground in gale near Cedar Point, Mass on voyage Emden - Boston, refloated, repaired and sold. On the 8th April 1964 stranded off Haiphong on voyage Haiphong - Korea, refloated and broken up at Hong Kong.

In 1947 she was owned by U.S. Maritime Commission.
In 1948 she was registered at Genoa Italy and she was owned by L'Italica Di Navigazione, Genoa Italy.
In 1957 she was owned by Victor Transport Corp, Monrovia Liberia.
In 1960 she was owned by Blessing Soc Anon, Beirut Lebanon.
