This minesweeper, bangor-class (diesel programme) was built in 1942 by Davie Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Lauzon PQ.
Notas históricas
In 1950c this vessel was planned to be the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Perry, but this vessel was returned to the Crown Assets and disposal Corporation shortly after the Royal Canadian Mounted Police took delivery.
