This corvette, flower class (1940-41 short-forecastle building programme) was built in 1941 by Midland Shipyards Ltd., Midland ON.
歴史的注記
This vessel carried 230 tons of fuel and could reach 16 knots. Her endurance was 3450 nm at 12 knots. This vessel was armed with one 4” BL Mk.IX, two twin .5” machine guns and two twin .303” machine guns, two (later four) depth charge throwers and two rails (later four) carrying 40 depth charges (later 70). This vessel carried a complement of 7 officers and 85-90 other ranks. This vessel was last listed in the Lloyd’s Register of 1972-73.
