This corvette, flower class (1939-40 canadian building programme) was built in 1941 by Davie Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Lauzon PQ.
Historische Notizen
This vessel carried 230 tons of fuel and could reach 16 knots. Her endurance was 3450 nm at 12 knots. This vessel was armed with one 4” BL Mk.IX, two twin .5” machine guns and two twin .303” machine guns, two (later four) depth charge throwers and two rails (later four) carrying 40 depth charges (later 70). This vessel carried a complement of 7 officers and 85-90 other ranks. This vessel was broken up at Hamilton ON in 1945.
