Geschichte
This barge was built in 1917 by Sanderson and Porter Co. in Raymond, WA.
Historische Notizen
This vessel was under tow by the Imbrecaria in Hecate Strait in a southeast gale. This vessel went ashore in a gale at the mouth of the Tlell River on the Queen Charlotte Islands on December 11, 1928. The remains of her wreck are still visible on the beach. Interestingly several US websites show her as the Pezuta - rather than the Pesuta which Kathleen Dalzell cites in her iconic book of 1973.
Eigentümer & Kapitäne
In 1918 she was owned by the United States Shipping Bureau.
Remotisierung
She was converted to a non-powered barge.
