This fishboat, seiner was built in 1942 by Matsumoto Boatworks in Prince Rupert, BC.
歴史的注記
The RCN employed her as a fire boat at Esquimalt BC Canada. This vessel was crewed with Fishermen's Reserve personnel but was not a part of the Fishermen's Reserve.
In 1943-1944 this vessel was tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy II.
In 1945 this vesse attended the scene of a plane crash near Esquimalt Harbour and towed the wreckage into the harbour. The plane was carrying horses being flown across the Pacific.
In 2015 this vessel was destroyed by fire.
