This minesweeper, bay-class was built in 1953 by Canadian Vickers Ltd. in Montreal, QC.
In 1987 she was used as a naval gunnery target and then sunk with scuttling charges.
She was in Royal Canadian Navy service 1953-1954.
She was transferred to the French Navy as La Paimpolaise.
