Tartar (II)

⚓

物語

This tug was built in 1906 by Scott & Sons Co. in Bowling Green, Scotland.

歴史的注記

In 1906 this vessel sailed to Vancouver BC via Cape Horn under command of Captain Polkinghorne. In May of 1910 as the Tartar approached the dock at Lund in the dark this vessel went aground. The wind and tide pushed her on to the rocks. As the tide went out this vessel rolled on to her side. As the tide came in this vesselfillled with water and sank. This vessel was later salvaged.

In 1915 this vessel sailed in daily service to the Sechelt Peninsula. This vessel was broken up in 1937.
