This tug was built in 1942c by H.M.C. Dockyard (Esquimalt BC).
In 1942 she was owned by the RCN.
In 1944 she was owned by Harry E. Van Froome (MO), Victoria BC Canada.
In 1946 she was owned by George Hemminsen, Chemainus BC Canada.
In 1948-1957 she was owned by Chemainus Towing Co. Ltd., Chemainus BC Canada.
