This vessel was a Ville-class small harbour tug at Esquimalt.
In 1974 this vessel was transferred to HMCS Discovery.

In 1944-1946 she was owned by the Royal Canadian Navy.
She became an auxiliary vessel (CNAV/CFAV) serving 1946-1976.
