Historische Notizen
""This vessel was built in Sorel, Quebec, cut into pieces, and sent by rail to Waterways (Fort McMurray, Alberta) where it was hauled to the portage at Fort Fitzgerald and portaged around the Slave River rapids to the landing at Fort Smith. There it was welded together and launched. This vessel was used both as a common carrier and to relay south on the Mackenzie River and Great Slave Lake ore produced by Eldorado Gold Mines Ltd. at its mine on Great Bear Lake. This vessel was the first steel hulled vessel servicing the lower end or the Mackenzie System. This vessel was drydocked at NTCL's Bell Rock camp from the late 1960s until it was donated to serve as an exhibit at the Northern Life Museum at Fort Smith, where it remains".
