Notas históricas
George Schneider (July 2026) writes: She was built for Danish owners by an American shipyard.
She was completed in 1998 by Alabama Shipyard (their hull 47) as the chemical tanker AGGERSBORG. Many European nations allow depreciation of vessels over a very brief timespan, keeping their fleets young, and she was put up for sale in 2005.
She went under Canada flag as ALGOSEA for Algoma Tankers, and they used her until 2023, a pretty good lifespan for a chemical tanker. But McKeil Marine saw value in her, bought her, took her to a Chinese shipyard, and had her converted into a bulk cargo ship.
