This minesweeper was built in 1943 by Associated Shipbuilders in Seattle, WA.
In 1943-1946 she was owned by the United States Navy.
In 1947-1956 she was owned by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, San Diego CA USA.
In 1960 she was reported sold to the International Crest Corp. of Burbank CA USA.
