Historische Notizen
On September 19, 1939 this vessel collided with the O/S Betty after the Betty cut across the Montara's bow. The Montara stayed with the damaged Betty until it made Port San Juan. On July 23, 1954 this vessel foundered 140 miles southwest of San Diego CA at 31degN 119degW.
