Story

This fishboat, seiner was built in 1960 by Marine Construction & Design Co. in Seattle, WA.

Historical Notes

Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 29/11/2022) stated "JACQUELINE L (280453) was one of a trio of steel seiners named for Columbus' boats (as SANTA MARIA) delivered in 1960 by Seattle's Marine Construction & Design Company to the J. Howard Smith Company of Port Monmouth, NJ. There may have been one or two earlier, steel seiners for Alakan salmon fisheries, but this trio is really the archtype for the dozens built in the sixties and seventies. She'd still been under her original name, operating out of Westport, WA as recently as 2016."
