This buoy & light tender was built in 1942 by Birchfield Boiler Co. in Tacoma, WA.
Notes historiques
Kyle Stubbs states (May 2026) that the Freeman family, owners of Fremont Boat Company, maintain the vessel with much of its original exterior outfitting for occasional use supporting their tugboat business, but the vessel is primarily used for recreational purposes.
