Notas históricas

Bill Higgs (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 14/10/2019) stated "The Higgs Family owned her from 1962 until 1989. During those years this vessel worked steady. This vessel originally had just a day cabin / wheelhouse and in 1970 we added around 5 ft on to her cabin. This allowed enough room for a bunk and galley.

In 1982 we sheathed the hull in steel ( bensons) as this vessel was getting really tender especially around the garboards. This vessel was never a great log tower since this vessel was fairly shallow and blew her wheel wash everywhere, however tow logs this vessel did.... I remember taking lots of trips out of the head of Jervis Inlet with 42 sections of helicopter bundles. Pretty much just making headway with a fair tide only. We would need to tie up at Morrison bluffs quite often and run for fuel.... I took lots of 7 section loads through Sechelt rapids with her. This vessel did better with barges."
