Notes historiques
George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 24/05/2025) stated "When Pasha Line first disclosed that they might convert some of their older steam vessels to diesel, it was never clear whether they meant their two former Farrell container ships, or the former LASH ships. Both had about the same carrying capacity and were of about the same age. Since then, one of the former LASH ships has been modified with a dual-fuel (diesel or LNG) engine, and one of the Farrell ships has gone for scrap One of each remained laid up at San Diego. As of now, the decision is clear. The other former Farrell ship, with her name shortened to ENTERPRISE (623168 / IMO 7617905) and changed to Comoros flag, a lowlife even among flags of convenience. I watched her for more than a week to see some tug come get her for scrap, but on the morning of 23 May she sailed from San Diego headed for Singapore, and I'm sure eventually to India or thereabouts.
She seems to have sailed under her own power: No tug was evident, and although there may have been a tug whose AIS wasn't working, she reached speeds up to 12 knots after leaving the harbor, highly unlikely under tow."
