Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 13/12/2021) stated "the ASSERTIVE (AGOS 9) after this vessel was rejected by NOAA, which was later sold off for speculative conversion as a fishing vessel (1224251), still laid-up on Lake Union."

In 1985-2004 she was owned by the United States Navy.
In 2004-2008 she was owned by the United States National Oceamographic and Atmospheric Administration, Washington DC USA.
In 2008 she was owned by the United States Maritime Administration.
In 2008=2025 she was owned by Seattle Central Colllege, Maritime Academeny, Seattle WA USA as a training vessel.
