This freighter, (victory-type) was built in 1943 by Burrard Drydock Co. Ltd. in North Vancouver, BC.
On 15th February 1944 this vessel was torpedoed and sunk by U.410 at 40.34N 14.37E on a voyage Naples - Salerno.
In 1943 she was owned by Wartime Merchant Shipping Ltd. (J. Cory & Sons), London UK.
