This tug was built in 1979 by Main Iron Works.
Historical Notes
George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 25/05/2025) stated "there was also a "New" tug at Pacific Tug, CAPTAIN CALE (602985). I recognized her as a Gulf-built tug, but didn't realize I'd seen her before. She's spent several decades in the southland as PATCONA II for the Connolly-Pacific Co. of Long Beach, specializing in waterfront construction.
She also appeared in my Main Iron Works list, built by them in 1979 as CAPT LUKE. Kyle, here's an update for Tugboat Information.
She was bought by Pacific and renamed in 2025. Oddly, her homeport remains at Long Beach."

She was owned by Connolly-Pacific Co., Long Beach CA USA.
In 2025 she was owned by USA interests.
