Notas históricas

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 25/05/2025) stated "At Pacific Tug Boat, I saw a barge I thought I'd never seen before. I was half right. I'd never seen it in San Diego.

She was designated PDC 160 (527059). PDC I assume indicates Pacific Dredging Co, another of the many business ventures within the Pacific Tugboat group. I'd covered her in "Honolulu Part 2" describing her as a "Somewhat orphaned barge." Her name then was HT 538, owned by Weeks Marine but with a name showing her origins with Healy-Tibbetts. Her history goes back farther than that, having been built as BCL 1294 for the U. S. Army in WWII by the American Bridge Co. "

Propietarios y capitanes
