He was a lawyer in Cumberland BC.
He was elected as the Mayor of Cumberalnd.
He was elected as an Independent Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for Comox 1924-1928. Afterwards he was appointed as a Judge of the County Court at Nanaimo BC.
