He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF 1943.
He served inRCAF Hagerville as Flying Instructor 1943, Released 1944, (Transferred to RNVR).
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 1945.
He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1945, RAF Errol for #9 AFU 1945.
He served in RNAS Arbroath for 803 RN Squadron 1945.
He served in RNAS Nutts Corners for 803 RN Squadron 1945.
He served in H.M.S. Seaborn for Release 1946, Released 1946, (Short Service Appointment).
He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 11/06/1951).
He served in HMCS Shearwater for 31st Support Air Group in 803 Squadron 1952. (He died in a flying accident 17/04/1952.)
