Biografía
(He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) He served in the steamer Daisy in 1888.
He had been Master of the Lorne and the Thistle. The Thistle was chartered by the Atlantic Halibut Company and employed in halibut fishing in Hecate Strait.
He was Master of the Transfer.
He was President of the Santa Ana Steamship Co. and the Alaska Rivers Navigation Co.
In 1898 he became the owner operator of vessels on the Yukon River.
In 1900 he was the Victoria BC manager of the Atlin Hydraulic Mining Co., Ltd.
