He served in HMCS Cornwallis 1943.
He was appointed as a Paymaster Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR.
He was appointed as a Paymaster Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 16/08/1944).
In 1944 he served in HMCS Avalon.
He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 16/08/1944). (He was demobilized 1945.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (S) RCN(R) Promoted on the retired list.
