He was qualified as a Medical Doctor.
He He became an anesthesiologist and worked for Burnaby General Hospital from 1966 to 1998.
He was Chief of Staff in 1978-1979 and Head of Department 1991-1992. After Burnaby General, he worked for 5 years at Metrotown Surgical Centre, Burnaby BC Canada.
Militärdienst
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1952.
In 1952 he served in HMCS Discovery for UNTD.
He was a member of the RCAF from 1958 to 1965.
He was appointed as a Flight-Lieutenant (MED) (RCAF).
He posted to France 1960-1965 (He was released.)
Anekdoten
Bill Clearihue states (Email to Nauticapedia 23/09/2024) that "My guess is he transferred over to the RCAF while in Medical School possibly under the MOTP (Medical Officer Training Plan) program."
