He completed his structural engineering degree at the University of Colorado (Denver) and retired from working full time in a few of his firms in 2011.
He notes: "We have a shortage of structural engineers in the Boston area so from time to time I help out a few engineers in reviewing their work and make some comments. I also spent a lot of time in Poland where I inherited a few properties." In 2012 he was living in Arlington MA USA.

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R). (He was released.)
