He spent over thirty years serving the children of Burnaby as a teacher, counsellor, principal, and assistant superintendent.
軍歴
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1953.
In 1953-1956 he served in HMCS Discovery for UNTD.
He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R).
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). (He was released.) He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/05/1958) on the Retired List.
逸話
On December 31, 1941, he and his mother and younger brother were evacuated by train from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore.
They were evacuated from Singapore on January 30, 1942, on the EMPRESS OF JAPAN (ii), which stopped in Ceylon, and Durban, South Africa before arriving in the UK.
