Biografie
He graduated with a BSc from UWO 1956. .
He was a plastics chemist.
He graduated from UWO in the spring of '56 with a BSc, Honours Physics and Chemistry.
He then went on to Pembroke College, Cambridge U and obtained a PhD in Physical Sciences there in 1959.
He was for at least 40 years involved in The Canadian Plastics Industry Association, as Technical Director, and held various patents and published many papers along the way. His emphasis was on the environmental aspects of plastic products, particularly on degradability.
Militärdienst
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1952.
In 1952 he served in HMCS Prevost for UNTD.
In 1953 he served in HMCS Swansea for the Coronation Review. had 3 UNTD summers; 1953 (East), 1954 (West), 1955.
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1955).
In 1956 he served in HMCS Cataraqui.
He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/05/1957).
In 1957 he served in HMCS Cataraqui for UNTD. (He was released.)
