军事服役
On 01/05/1941 he joined the RCAF in Edmonton AB. Following basic training at Camp Borden, near Toronto.
He was assigned to the RCAF Marine Section as a Seaman and posted to RCAF Patricia Bay, near Sidney, BC.
He was later promoted to Corporal RCAF and appointed as an NCO in charge of two crash boats, the RCAF Teal and RCAF Scoter.
He was subsequently posted to Bella Bella where he served in the RCAF Jager. (He was released 13/09/1945 at Vancouver BC.)
