Biografía
(He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) In 1989 he commanded the Arctic Nanook on a partial transit of the Northwest Passage eastward from Tuktoyaktuk to Peel Sound and Lancaster Sound.
He repeate this feat in the Arctic Nanabush the same year becoming the first person to complete partial Northwest Passage transits of two vessels in one year.
