In 1962 he served in HMCS Bonaventure.
In 1964 he served in HMCS Hochelaga.
He served in HMCS Donnacona. (He was released 1970.)

Distinguished Service Medal (DSM)-RCN -Awarded as per London Gazette of 1 January 1945 "He was awarded the DSM "For gallantry or outstanding service in the face of the enemy or for zeal, patience and cheerfulness in dangerous waters and for setting an example of wholehearted devotion to duty, upholding the high traditions of the Royal Canadian Navy."
