He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCNVR 1945.
In 1945 he served in HMCS Montcalm for UNTD. (He was demobilized.) (CFR).
He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/1949).
He served in HMCS Montcalm 1949.
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/1950).
He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1951).
He served in HMCS Prevost 1951. (Transferred to RCN 1952).
He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN 1952.
He served in HMCS Naden.
He served in HMCS Sioux as Supply Officer 1954.
He served in HMCS Shearwater 1956.
He served in HMCS Hochelaga 1957.
He served in HMCS Restigouche as Supply Officer 1959.
He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 15/05/1960).
He served in HMCS Hochelaga.
He served in HMCS Gatineau as Squadron Staff Officer 1963.
He served in HMCS Bytown as Staff D Budget 1965. (He retired in 1970.) (He was qualified for supply duties).
