This tug was built in 1945 by Commercial Iron Works in Portland, OR.
Historical Notes
A connversion to a scallop tender was never completed.
In 2014 she was laid up at Anacortes WA USA and was subsequently broken up about 2017.

In 1945-1987 she was owned by the United States Navy.
In 1987 she was owned by Island Tug & Barge Co., Seattle WA USA.
In 2013 she was owned by Northwest Marine Equipment Leasing, Anacortes WA USA.
In 2017 she was owned by USA interests.
