Historical Notes

Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 17/07/2024) stated "another oilfield boat made its way out the basin on Terminal Island, with the two conveniently crossing paths near my vantage point. Though one might not guess so based off the paint scheme, the crewboat PETER MAC (560512) is also from the Ship Services fleet, which probably explains the timing. This one was built in 1974 by Camcraft of Crown Point, Louisiana as the CLIPPER ONE for Clipper Fleet out of the Florida panhandle.

She later ended up in the fleet of Tidewater Marine as the ASHTON TIDE, then was acquired by Ship Services in 2006 and given her present name."
