Historische Notizen
James Cagney was a Hollywood movie star. This vessel is a is a reduced-scale replica of Swift, an American privateer from the Revolutionary War which was captured by the Royal Navy, transported to Britain, and deconstructed. George Schneider stated "I went by the site where the Swift of Ipswich (238625) is being repaired and restored. The future doesn’t look good for her: Their fancy interpretive signs are gone, as well as the scaffolding, temporary sheds, and protective tarps. It’s a shame if they spend so much time and money on her and this vessel doesn’t make it back into the real world."
