George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 27/11/2023) states "The cruise ship CROWN PRINCESS (IMO 9293399) arrived and was stuffed onto the passenger face of the Aloha Tower quay. This passenger terminal was designed for the LURLINE and other Matson ships of the 1930-1960s. 10 times the tonnage (and with 5 times the number of passengers) this vessel dwarfed the pier and blocked my view from the boat. "
