Notas históricas

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 27/11/2023) states "A second "superyacht" came in to tie up at the Aloha Tower on my last day there. This vessel is clearly into the category "expeditionary yacht," favored by people who want to look more rugged than pampered. FRIENDLY CONFINES (9408669) is second-hand, originally COPASETIC and classed as a research vessel. This vessel was built in 2006 by Hike Metals of Wheatland, Ontario, a company that typically builds aluminum workboats, and this vesse appears to be the largest vessel they've ever built at 141 ft in length. This vessel was sold and renamed MARCATO in 2016 as a yacht under Jamaican flag, and now sails under Marshall Islands flag. There are many references to the source of her present name, but I choose to think she's named for the intimate apparel brand. "

Propietarios y capitanes
