Historical Notes
George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 27/11/2023) states "I also managed to get an improved photo of another of the Young Brothers tugs, KAPENA GEORGE PANUI (1275652, IMO 9816878), one of a class of four built for them several years ago by Conrad Industries in Morgan City LA. These were specifically built for towing the 400-500 foot interisland barges that supply the other islands with products imported to Honolulu."
