Historical Notes
George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 27/06/2023) stated "I returned to the harbor to get another foreign-built U. S. flag ship, in this case a freighter named OCEAN GLADIATOR, whatever that means. This vessel was built in Wuhan, China (of COVID-19 fame) in 2010 as BELUGA PROMOTION for German owners under Antigua flag. I'm not sure what that name means either. Over the years this vessel also sailed as BELUGA MUMBAI, HHL VENICE, TREASURY THREE, and ZEA GULF before coming to U. S. flag in 2020 as OCEAN GLADIATOR (1307942 / IMO 9418987)"
